By accessing or using My Big Bill (the "Service," available at mybigbill.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
My Big Bill is a free tool that analyzes electricity bills for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) customers in California. It extracts information from an uploaded bill, compares available residential rate plans, and provides estimates and suggestions related to potential savings.
My Big Bill is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Pacific Gas and Electric Company. All references to PG&E, its rate plans, and its programs are for identification and comparison purposes only. "PG&E" and related marks belong to their respective owner.
My Big Bill does not provide financial, legal, tax, or engineering advice. Estimates of savings, rate plan comparisons, and projections (including solar net-metering true-up projections) are based on the data in the bill you upload and publicly available rate information at the time of analysis. They are estimates, not guarantees, and actual results depend on factors outside My Big Bill's control, including future rate changes, your actual usage patterns, and PG&E's own billing determinations. Always confirm rate plan changes and enrollment eligibility directly with PG&E before acting.
You agree to:
If you choose to provide an email address (for example, to receive a copy of your analysis), you consent to My Big Bill using it for that stated purpose, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
The Service's design, code, and content (excluding any data you upload) belong to My Big Bill. You retain ownership of the bill data you upload; see the Privacy Policy for how it's used and retained.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. My Big Bill does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate or projection will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Big Bill and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of savings, profits, or data, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any estimate it provides. Your use of any information from the Service to make a decision (including switching rate plans, purchasing solar, or purchasing equipment) is at your own discretion and risk.
My Big Bill may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these terms.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
